First off, let me thank each and every one of you who has signed this petition over the past few weeks.  I would have been extremely grateful for 100, 250, 500, or 1,000 signatures, let alone 2,545.  It is quite interesting to me that each time an arbitrary Change.org signature goal is met, they keep doubling it, which is exhausting, and past a certain point, simply too much to ask. Please know that I would be truly grateful for each and every signature that is added to this petition, as long as I might also convince each and every one of you to go beyond just signing, and place at least one good call to Amazon, through your Amazon portal, to share your concerns about Amazon's sale of cruel, diabolical, and inhumane paw traps.  We are off to a good start, but more needs to be done.  If you have not done so already, please do contact Amazon, with the instructions outlined in the last paragraph of this petition, and demand that Amazon ban the sale of barbaric, maiming, and wicked paw traps.

Yesterday evening, on Thursday January 7, 2021, I spoke to Will, an Amazon Customer Service Supervisor, from Columbia.  Will had compassion, and he understood and shared my concerns about the cruelty and barbarity of paw traps, and the incredible pain and permanent injury that they cause to gentle and innocent raccoons.  Together, we went through paw trap listings, and we selected 10 paw trap items to add to my cart, so we could track them.  Will saved all 10 of the paw trap items, and he then forwarded them to the Amazon Executive Customer Relations Team, sharing our concerns and objections that they are cruel, maiming, inhumane, and immoral, as well as illegal to use in a number of states.

Will told me that, if enough people speak out and protest Amazon's sale of paw traps, it would likely make a huge difference in getting paw traps de-listed on Amazon's web site.  If we protest loud enough, and for long enough, sales of paw traps on Amazon might be banned on a permanent basis.  Please, take a few minutes of your time to go to your Amazon account and follow the steps outlined in the last paragraph of this petition.  Ask to speak to an Amazon Customer Service Supervisor, and share your thoughts and feelings about paw traps, and Amazon's sale of them.  Work together with the supervisor to identify between 5 and 8 paw trap listings that are of most concern to you, and ask that these listings, and your concerns, be forwarded to the Amazon Executive Customer Relations Team.  Please also ask for follow-up contact from an Amazon Executive Customer Relations Associate.  Persist, and seriously, don't take "no" for an answer.  Together, we will convince Amazon to ban the sale of cruel, barbaric, diabolical, and inhumane paw traps, once and for all.
