Hello plastic-free supporters:

I’m excited to share that I have confirmed Feb 23 for my first meeting with Congressman Lee Zeldin to present the petition and make the case for a plastic-free option at checkout on Amazon (and other major shippers). 

My aim is to show how the proposed plastic-free option will:

a) Cut down on costly waste management that taxpayers end up footing

b) Reduce the presence of harmful plastic waste/plastic demand overall

c) Empower consumers to voice their desire for plastic-free options while simultaneously supporting commerce

I will also be in DC mid March to meet with additional representatives and expect to be at 300,000 signatures by end of month!
