After scientific experts agree beyond doubt that lobsters can suffer and feel pain, Amazon and Ebay have shamelessly supported the sale and live export through the mail of these feeling intelligent animals, and who can be in transit for up to a week!

In their ocean home, lobsters can journey more than 100 miles a year using a series of complicated signals to navigate their environment. Keeping them in cramped containers and transporting them vast distances denies them the opportunity to engage in any of their natural behaviour. The stress this causes is exacerbated when they're removed from salt water, as they're unable to breathe properly in the open air.

Most of these purchased lobsters will meet a brutal end likely being boiled alive, a slaughter that has been described as " unnecessary torture" and has had countries like Switzerland making it illegal. There is no humane or ethical way to kill anyone who does not want to die.
