Amazon Should Not Suddenly Decrease FBA Storage Space

The Issue

Amazon 3p Sellers sell approximately 60% of inventory on Amazon and are vital in supplying buyers with the range of products they love. During the Pandemic, Amazon limited the amount of FBA storage for Third-party Sellers FBA inventory. This was understandable during the pandemic.

Amazon has recently drastically further reduced the amount of inventory third-party sellers are allowed to utilize without advanced warning. Needless to say, this is essentially an account suspension for sellers as inventory is often purchased months in advance and it's unfair to suddenly reduce the amount allowed to send in which essentially has been paralyzing these companies and employees.

A recent seller's poll found that 75% find the sudden storage reduction to be a significant issue.

Please consider rolling back the recent reductions and in the future allow us more time before a sudden reduction in storage. We also would like a clearer understanding of how to avoid sudden FBA shortages with a way to appeal false-positive AI errors.
