Rename the Severn crossing the Tony Pulis Bridge/Pont Pulis

Football manager Tony Pulis is the living embodiment of the links between Newport and Bristol. His playing career took him from Newport, to Bristol, and back again and then across the old Severn Bridge once more. As well as bringing the people of south Wales and the west of England closer together Mr Pulis has made a great financial contribution to road crossings over the Severn/Mor Hafren. The Tony Pulis Bridge/Pont Pulis, it's only right.

Renaming the bridge after Mr Pulis will honour the sporting, cultural and economic links he has fostered between Newport and Bristol - and no doubt the nearby motorway service station too.

Welsh secretary Alun Cairns has decided to rename the Second Severn Crossing the Prince of Wales Bridge and believes the "silent majority" support the name he has chosen. Mr Pulis has never been relegated as a player or manager. Please sign this petition to ensure his name isn't relegated from a bridge between two countries he has done so much to support.
