Gareth Bale is THE modern day icon of Wales, known the world over for his sporting achievements.

Following his heroics in the champions league final, I propose that the second Severn Crossing be named after him rather than Prince Charles. He is an individual that the Welsh public can identify with and support and this would be a fitting tribute to his contribution to the country.
