Aggressive dogs are found in any breeds or cross breeds. Breed specific legislation and breed bans isn't an effective solution to the problem of dog attacks. The best way to result in no dog attacks is by education, training and legislation encouraging responsibility of all breeds. Help me make Altus Arkansas uplift the ordinance on all pitbull / bully types of dogs. While the intent of the law is to protect the public from harms way BSL is eniffective and has come at a huge cost of many dog's lives and violated the constitutional rights of citizens who love the banned breed by forcing them to either surrender their beloved pets or move out of city limits. Recognize that each and every dog is an individual in temperament and behavior as each person isn't the same either physical appearance does not determine behavior it's learned! All dogs have the power to do serious harm and this has nothing to do with their appearance. Please help me end this my home has been taking from me because I don't have my best buddy and companion my security.
