According to a notice issued in February 2018 by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. All the students who get a Semester Back, i.e. fail to score minimum 40 marks in half of the total subjects (Example: You must pass in atleast 4 subjects out of the total 6 subjects) will be declared to fail in that semester, which sounds fair enough. However, what the changes for students from the batch 2017 onwards are that:

Unlike before, (If a student fails in 1st semester, he/she shall give all exams of that semester in 3rd semester and similar for cases of even semester), the students will have to appear for these exams after their 6th semester. This is practically ruining a whole year for those students who are aiming for an MBA or even for corporates, (because unless you have the proof of passing your degree, which corporate shall consider you?)

As you can see in this link, http://ccsuniversity.ac.in/web/All-PDF/20180217-general-ruls.pdf this notice was signed and issued in the initial months of the year 2018 and are considered to be applicable for batch of 2017 onwards. That doesn't sound fair enough since prior information should've been given.

I would therefore request you all to sign this petition and save the students from ruining their career.
