Surfers spend more time physically in the ocean year round than almost any other group. They are what is known in science as an "indicator species." If there's something dangerous in the water, they're usually the first to know it. ALO’s Surf Stewards program is designed to bring the surf community together to support the cause of clean beaches, oceans, and waves.
