Allow Zionsville Seniors to Decorate Graduation Caps as a Farewell!
The Issue
Zionsville seniors should be allowed to decorate their graduation caps because it gives us the chance to express our individuality, celebrate our accomplishments, and honor the people or values that helped us reach this milestone. High school graduation is not just a ceremony—it’s the culmination of years of hard work, growth, and personal identity, and the cap is one of the few ways students can show that meaning visually. Allowing decorations would also make the event more memorable and unique, while still maintaining respect for the tradition of graduation. Even if we have to pay an extra fee to keep the cap, that cost is a small price for the opportunity to create a keepsake that reflects who we are and what we’ve achieved.
