As a deeply concerned individual, I find it absolutely unfair that Ukraine is under constant threat and attack from Russian territory, yet is not allowed to strike back using western weapons. This situation has led to the unfortunate loss of innocent Ukrainian civilians' lives and continues to destabilize the region.

According to data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), more than 13,000 people have been killed in this conflict since 2014. The current restrictions on Ukraine's ability to defend itself only serve to exacerbate this crisis.

It's time for change. We must advocate for a fair system where each nation has an equal right and capacity for self-defense. This includes allowing Ukraine access and permission to use western weapons as a means of protecting its citizens and sovereignty.
