Allow the use ALL RESIN outdoor products in Horace neighborhoods and subdivisions
The Issue
I am a resident of Horace, ND, USA. Recently, the Cub Creek review board sent me a certified letter (1st notice) instructing me to remove my Suncast Tremont 8×10 shed within five business days. This is because our neighborhood covenants do not currently allow the use of ALL RESIN OUTDOOR STORAGE SOLUTIONS including but not limited to Vertical, Horizontal, Storage Shed, Deck Boxes of any size, Trash Hideaways.
Our neighborhood's list of banned products is extensive and outdated. It does not take into account modern advancements in materials and aesthetics that companies like Suncast provide. Their products are not only durable but also visually appealing - enhancing rather than detracting from our community's appearance.
The visual appeal of our neighborhood is important to all residents, and my shed contributes positively to this aesthetic value. The current covenants are restrictive and need updating to reflect modern standards and preferences for outdoor storage solutions.
I propose that we change these covenants to include the use of ALL resin products such as those provided by Suncast. This will allow us more freedom in choosing outdoor storage options that suit our needs while maintaining the beauty and integrity of our community.
