As members of the Minnesota Men’s Gymnastics Team, selecting the right program for us was a very difficult decision. We came to the U because of its highly regarded academic programs, beautiful campus, and the nationally competitive club gymnastics program. We are seeking to understand why we are not being given an opportunity to speak on a matter that is of great importance to us.

The University of Minnesota prides itself on fostering open dialogue and supporting student voices. However, our requests for an audience with the Board of Regents have been denied without explanation. This lack of transparency contradicts the values that attracted us here in the first place.

We believe it is crucial for students to be heard by those who make decisions impacting our university experience.
