We, the class of 2025, are unable to feature our senior quotes as part of the graduation ceremony. Instead, we believe that we should have an opportunity to express our individuality and accomplishments through the customizing of our graduation caps and wearing of custom sashes.

Graduation is a time when each of us should be able to celebrate our achievements and express our feelings, inspirations, and goals for the future. We can do so by personalizing caps and sashes, we can transform a uniform ceremony into a platform for expression, allowing each student's unique personality and academic journey to shine through.

Allowing customization is not unprecedented. Many colleges and universities across the country and indeed the world, allows graduates to customize their caps, the practice is considered an essential part of their graduation ceremonies.
