My name is Cliff Conners, and I am deeply passionate about fostering a love for baseball in the youth of Atlantic Beach. As a dedicated coach, I have been working with 37 enthusiastic young athletes to not only teach them the fundamentals of baseball but also instill values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. These sessions have become a source of joy and development for these kids, and we have seen remarkable progress in their skills and confidence.

However, our journey is currently at a standstill due to pending new city guidelines regarding the use of local sports facilities. As the City of Atlantic Beach works diligently to finalize these important regulations, I am requesting that the city manager, Bill Killingsworth, consider granting a temporary permit that would allow us to continue our instructional sessions until the new framework is officially established.

I fully understand the importance of compliance and am committed to adhering to all city requirements. To demonstrate my dedication, I am prepared to:

- Provide proof of liability insurance, naming the City as additionally insured.
- Adhere to any scheduling, safety, or use-fee requirements outlined by the City.
- Offer my assistance to the city in creating a comprehensive, long-term strategy that benefits all stakeholders.
