The Everett Public School district made it so that students cannot change their profile picture and wallpaper on School Chromebooks causing people to be stuck with their old profile pictures and the wallpapers being set to a default one, this makes it so students cannot express themselves and be able to comfortably use the technology. Allowing students to chose their own wallpapers and profile pictures made it so students could be able to look at a photo that would make them happy when they open their school Chromebooks to do work so it would motivate them to not just close the Chromebook and go back to playing video games. Although these Chromebooks are for school use only the ability to be able to change the wallpaper and profile pictures made it so students could have a piece of comfort with them at school that they could stare at when they need it. Now we just have to stare at this bright blue screen  that the image isn’t even properly centred on!
