The Issue

Living in Brigade Eldorado, I have always been drawn to the gentle and loyal stray dogs that roam our community. These dogs are not just any stray dogs; they are sterilized, healthy, and truly friendly. Many of us here, including myself, have taken them under our wing, feeding and caring for them as they add warmth to our lives. However, some residents and individuals unjustly perceive them as a nuisance, going as far as trying to drive them away, leaving them to suffer from hunger and neglect.

In this community, there is a disheartening double standard where some believe that these dogs are haram and treat them with disdain, yet they welcome pets into their own homes. It is heart-wrenching to witness such contradictions when all animals deserve respect and a chance at a good life.

Stray dogs are not only part of our ecosystem but also contribute positively by keeping away pests like rodents. They deserve love, care, and the dignity of staying in a place where they are safe and cherished, especially when they have been well taken care of through sterilization and regular feeding.

To ensure these dogs are not abandoned or hurt due to misconceptions and biases, we call upon the management of Brigade Eldorado and local authorities to allow these friendly animals to remain in our community. This not only enhances the humanitarian spirit of our community but also sets a precedent of kindness and responsibility that we can all be proud of.

Join me in urging the residents and management of Brigade Eldorado to embrace these stray dogs as part of our community. By signing this petition, we can ensure their safety and promote a culture of humane treatment for every animal, irrespective of stereotypes and unfounded fears. Please sign this petition to support a better life for these loving dogs.
