I am a student here in San Jose Job corps and there very strict about many rules especially be most staff are very rude. Also since there very strict we hardly get to have any freedom to do anything or go out and many students struggling with anxiety and depression and more and we already have so many pressure and stress every day waking up at 6 am and finishing school at 4pm it's very tiring so I want job corps to allow students to at least bring one pet it will really help us out but I need a lot of support on this if you can share please. Also this school is very isolating I don't mind the helps there giving us but it's true we hardly get paid enough and we are very limited to things we can bring like a fridge to have fresh fruits and food. Anyways I been wanting to bring a pet here for quite a while and I believe it will be a good experience for many students to learn more responsibilities and look after a pet. I'm not asking for much but please share this around so we are able to have a friend by our side even when things get difficult especially with everything that's been happening nowadays. The department of labor is in charge of this decision and I would want it to reach out to them so they let staff allow students to bring at least an emotional support pet this will be good way for students to be more motivated and less anxious and it will be a great responsibility for them to learn ways of caring for a pet. Of course there's a few pros and cons but if you can see the positive on this request and give students an opportunity to bring a best friend and a companion to stay by there side. Also I struggle alot with health issues and makes it hard to stay active and motivated. For example I have anemia and asthma and having anemia makes you have a very weak and low body making it hard to wake up and do daily things in life. Having a service pet could help with those problems and much more
