Every year, as Summer temperatures go up, secondary school boys are not allowed to wear shorts, whilst girls can opt to wear skirts.

This is an outdated, inhumane policy and makes no sense!

This petition is a simple request to allow all genders at schools to opt to wear shorts in the spring/summer months if they choose to. Why should children suffer and feel uncomfortable when all it does is affect their concentration and comfort. For children with sensory needs around clothing it is particularly difficult.

To gain momentum we need to unite across schools so please share far and wide.

Let's get this antiquated school rule overturned for the 21st century.
