This petition is to allow pet domesticated potbellied pigs, and other similar miniature pigs, primarily housed in a personal residence as a permitted use in all residential districts of Nashua, NH. 

Allowing pet pigs in residential neighborhoods decreases the number of pigs that are rehomed due to improper zoning and keeps pet pigs from crowding animal shelters and rescues.

They are also the best pets ever!! 

Pigs are incredibly intelligent and clean animals. They show love and affection and have a wide range of emotion. They are the 4th smartest animal on the planet and their intelligence equates to that of a human toddler. 

We need your signatures now more than ever. Two pet pigs were given 60 days to find a new home, when they are on their own property causing no harm or trouble to anyone.

Please help us change the zoning ordinance in Nashua so these piggies can keep their home and family!
