As a concerned citizen of Pennsylvania, I am writing this petition to address an urgent issue that affects the safety and well-being of our students. It is time for us to stand up and demand change in our education system, specifically regarding the rights of students to defend themselves from physical attacks without facing consequences. I am writing this bcause my friend was physically assaulted by a boy who touched their breast without consent. In a natural response to protect themselves, my friend  kicked the boy in self-defense. However, instead of being commended for standing up against harassment and protecting their own bodily autonomy, my friend faced disciplinary action. Sign this to persuade Pennsylvania legislators to remove this unfair rule before anyone else is punished for self defense.
