The Issue

In St. Johns county, it violates the student dresscode for students to wear pajama pants. I am a 14 year old student that attends Tocoi Creek High School who just wants to be comfy, and wear what I want during my 7 hour long school day. I am not asking for the county to approve of obscene clothing. I am simply wanting to wear pants that have a plaid design on them that is deemed as "inappropriate work attire." Pajama pants go down to the ankle, and do not expose any part of the body that "regular" pants deemed as appropriate work attire (such as jeans or khakis) cover. As members of St. Johns county, we have the power that can change this rigorous rule put on students.
