Allow Normal Offline Downloads and Updates on macOS Servers and Managed Macs

Allow Normal Offline Downloads and Updates on macOS Servers and Managed Macs
Le problème
Apple allows millions of users to download applications such as Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming platforms on iPhones and iPads, with full access to offline downloads and seamless updates through the App Store.
However, on macOS, the experience remains inconsistent, limited, and unreliable.
Currently, many iOS/iPadOS applications on Mac require being added to the Dock or launched through indirect methods, which often leads to bugs, unstable behavior, and unnecessary complexity.
In addition, downloading content for offline use and accessing updates does not work on macOS in the same way it does on iPhones and iPads, despite Macs using Apple silicon and sharing the same ecosystem.
This situation creates multiple issues:
Unstable app behavior when applications must be added to the Dock to function properly
Frequent bugs and crashes related to iPad app compatibility on macOS
Limited or unreliable access to offline downloads for streaming applications
Delayed or inconsistent updates compared to iOS and iPadOS
A fragmented user experience within the Apple ecosystem
Mac users expect the same level of reliability, simplicity, and functionality that Apple already provides on iPhone and iPad.
We respectfully ask Apple to:
1. Allow native and stable installation of applications such as Netflix, Disney+, and similar apps directly on macOS
2. Enable proper offline downloads on Macs without requiring workarounds such as Dock-based launching
3.Ensure that application updates on macOS are handled in the same seamless way as on iPhones and iPads
4. Improve stability and reduce bugs related to ioS/iPadOS apps running on macoS
5.Treat macOS as a fully supported platform for modern App Store applications, not a secondary experience
With Apple silicon Macs sharing architecture with iPhones and iPads, there is no technical reason for macoS users to receive a reduced or unreliable experience. Providing full download, update, and offline support on macOS would significantly improve usability, reduce bugs, and strengthen Apple's ecosystem consistency.
We urge Apple to address this limitation and offer Mac users the same quality of experience they already enjoy on iPhone and iPad.
