Allow Nevaeh's Story at Graduation

Allow Nevaeh's Story at Graduation
The Issue
Nevaeh was more than just a friend; she was a light in our lives. Tragically, she passed away as a result of relentless bullying, a tragedy that could have been prevented if the school had taken action against the concerning behaviors occurring within its walls. It’s heart-wrenching to know that her voice was silenced not only by those who tormented her but by the institution that was supposed to protect her.
Now, in the wake of our loss, our school is withholding the opportunity for us to share Nevaeh's story at our graduation ceremony. This decision feels like an attempt to silence her story and deny her the dignity she deserves. Nevaeh deserves to be remembered, and her story needs to be told as a powerful reminder of the impact bullying can have.
Graduation is a time to reflect on our achievements, but it's also a time to honor and remember those who should be with us yet aren't. It's a chance for us to learn from the past and make sure we do better in the future. Allowing a speech in her honor would not only pay tribute to Nevaeh's life but also promote awareness and encourage action against bullying.
We are calling on the school administration in New Hampshire to allow us to deliver a speech at graduation that honors Nevaeh’s memory and shares her story. By doing so, we hope to foster a community that actively works against bullying and supports all students.
Remembering Nevaeh isn't just about looking back; it's about shaping a future where tragedies like hers are prevented. He said there's no time and only 2 speeches make time. This is for a good cause I truly dont care if other people want to do a speech. Please sign this petition to support our cause and to help make Nevaeh's voice heard once more.
