We come to you as proud members of the Hillgrove community. Our students invest their time, energy and passion in preparing for each and every athletic event. These events are more than just games; they are a testament to our players, cheerleaders, and band members' hard work and dedication. However, an integral part of these events - the music, announcing, and use of the scoreboard - is currently disallowed.

We would like to see a change. Our request is simple and fair – we ask for the permission to play music (both by the bands and over loudspeakers), allow announcers to commentate on games, and enable the usage of the scoreboard during all athletic events at elementary, middle as well as high school levels. The music and shout-outs invigorate the atmosphere, encourage our athletes, and provide an immersive experience for all in attendance.

Our students' achievements deserve to be celebrated in all their glory. An atmosphere that buzzes with the electric energy of music and live announcing can do just that. We consider it not only a form of support but also a way to foster community spirit and school pride.
