As a student at Clarkston High School the current dress code causes more distractions than the supposed ones caused by midriff. When someone is pulled out of class, or called out it becomes the subject of those around.

I along with other students want the school to change the dress code policy to allow midriff that doesn't show any undergarments. These changes would allow students, mainly female ones, to dress how they want without having their, or their classmates education, social, and free time interrupted. These changes would also allow staff to focus on other problems in the school.

If these changes are made as soon as possible it will allow a new peace of mind to all students affected and the staff who have to dress code those students.
