Mocha, a retired search and rescue canine, has always held a special place in our hearts. Over the past decade, Mocha became a beloved figure in our office, visiting regularly with her handler. Her presence brought countless smiles, brightened our workspaces, and significantly boosted morale. During holiday seasons, entire teams would make a point to include her in their festive photographs, and she even received personalized Holiday cards from upper management — a testament to her impact and the affection our office holds for her.

Mocha's visits were not just ordinary. She provided happiness and relaxation, reducing stress levels and fostering a positive work environment that can sometimes be hard to find. Yet, despite reaching retirement, Mocha hasn't lost her flair for bringing joy to those around her.

While we understand that offices must maintain professionalism and balance, an exception could be made for a day of joy and gratitude, symbolizing Mocha's decade-long contribution to our well-being and team spirit.

Allowing Mocha to spend a day in the office would be a wonderful way to celebrate her service and acknowledge the joy she's brought us over the years. Even more so by the fact that she has recently been diagnosed with cancer. It’s more than a visit — it’s a way for us to express our appreciation and allow those who love her to share one more special moment.
