Bynx, the beloved cat of the local gas station in Warwick, RI, has been an essential part of our community ever since she wandered into our parking lot as a stray kitten. Adopting her was an easy decision for us, as she brought joy, companionship, and service to our establishment. However, despite the Board of Health previously granting us permission to keep Bynx for pest control last year, they are now revoking this decision, stating that we cannot keep her anymore. This is not only unjust but also heartbreaking.

Bynx is more than just a pest control solution; she's become a cherished member of our team. Our customers regularly stop by just to say hello to her, forming a special bond that brightens their visits. She’s not only contributing to our pest control efforts but is also the heart of our community, offering emotional comfort to everyone she meets.

Animals have a unique way of touching our souls, and the relationship our customers have developed with Bynx showcases this beautifully. Removing her from her home not only disrupts her life but also affects the emotional landscape of our gas station.

We seek to appeal to the Board of Health's empathy and understanding. Bynx poses no health risk in a gas station that does not serve hot food, and her presence doesn't violate the essence of any health regulations. She serves a valuable purpose in terms of pest control while also enriching the lives of our patrons.

Please support our cause to keep Bynx at the station she calls home. She's not just a stray we took in; she's family. By signing this petition, you're helping us protect a bond that represents kindness, love, and community spirit.
