I'm passionate about disc golf, and when I found out that Long Creek Park had been acquired by the city of Winston-Salem, I realized it presented a unique opportunity. The park's unused golf course is an ideal location for an 18-hole championship disc golf course. Currently, no city parks in Winston-Salem have a disc golf facility, which limits the accessibility and promotion of this inclusive, low-cost sport.

By transforming the unused golf course into a disc golf course, we can revitalize underutilized space and enhance community engagement. The installation of a course at Long Creek Park would not only attract local players but also increase tourism as players from neighboring areas come to enjoy a championship-level course.
