Roblox introduced age groups in January 2026 to improve platform safety. However, I don't think some of these changes have actually helped, people can now buy Roblox accounts In different age groups.

One thing that really doesn't make sense to me is that developers now need Roblox+ to change their game's age group so players under 16 can access it, it honestly feels like a basic feature that shouldn't require a subscription.

This also affects social media links. Since June/July users under 16 can't view official links to Discord, X and other platforms anymore. Even if you own your own development group you can't add or manage those links if you're under 16.

I'm not asking Roblox to remove safety features. I just want developers to be able to change their game's age group without needing Roblox+ and to reconsider the restrictions on social media links for ID verified users under 16.
