I am sure you all can remember a time, not so long ago, when you could pick up your mail after the postal workers went home for the day.

This convenience allowed people who work second and third shift an opportunity to pick up their mail daily if thats what they chose to do.

Married families could probably manage to have their mail picked up by a loved one, but for many single people who work overnight, found it nearly impossible to collect their mail in a timely manner. Many important,time sensitive, packages arrive through the mail like medication, bills, and paychecks.

2023 will mark the third year in a row where our after hour privileges have been absent. Don't you feel like it's time to reinstate this after hours benefit at Oceana Post Office? I would appreciate your support on this matter.

PS- If security is the reason for this extended closure, surely we can request several security camera be placed in the building.
