As fans and supporters of Chris Brown, we remember his last visit to New Zealand back in 2008 while on tour with Rihanna. It's been almost 16 years since the unfortunate incident that tainted his career took place. Since then, he has paid his dues and shown significant growth both personally and professionally. He has rebuilt his career to its highest point yet, become a devoted father, and continues to inspire many with his music.

Despite this transformation, Chris Brown remains banned from touring in New Zealand due to past violent incidents. However, other celebrities with similar pasts have been allowed entry into the country for their tours - one such example is Tommy Lee of Motley Crue who performed at Auckland's Vector Arena in February 2015 despite having a criminal record for domestic violence.

We believe that everyone deserves a second chance - including Chris Brown. Over the years, his fan base has grown significantly worldwide and here in New Zealand as well. Denying him entry not only deprives him of an opportunity but also disappoints thousands of fans who eagerly await his performance.
