I have had a lot of issues with my chickens in Dunbar township PA. Our zoning is, if your property is not agricultural, and you have chickens, regardless if they are penned up, they must be removed. My chickens are Apart of our family. The zoning officer will be checking everyone who has chickens in Vanderbilt, dawson, dickersonrun, and surrounding areas in our township to have them removed or you will receive a fine. Chickens are very beneficial and with the cost of living, eggs has saved me and my family money. I am trying to change our township ordinance so chickens are aloud on residential lands.
