As we are all aware now since the pandemic, medical professionals travel for work. Nurses, Doctors, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy all the way down to US the nurse assistant’s. And everyone BUT us can get what’s called a “compact license” which covers over 20 states. Meaning, if they have this license they can go to work in any of those states. WE cannot do this. WE have to apply, pay, wait, mail, email, wait, fingerprint, drug test all that stuff for every single state we are trying to go to!! 
There is a federal minimum amount of hours for training both in class and internship required to be allowed to test. Some states require more than the minimum. 
I believe we should be allowed to apply for a compact certification if we would like to. 
Please help make the lives of traveling CNA’s easier by signing this petition and telling OBRA we deserve to have this.
