Celeste Milner is a shining light in the figure skating world, a dedicated coach, and an inspiration to those around her. Unfortunately, she has been unjustly barred from participating in the sport she so loves and in which she has made substantial positive impact. As a professional figure skater and coach, her absence is deeply felt not just by me but by all those who had the great fortune to be mentored by her.

Celeste's approach to coaching goes beyond just teaching the mechanics of figure skating. She instills in her students a passion for the sport, a respect for their fellow skaters, and a dedication to personal improvement. Not allowing her to compete in her own state has halted the progress of the numerous skaters fortunate enough to be under her wing, and has denied potential students the opportunity to learn from someone as dedicated and inspiring as Celeste.

But her impact is not just local, Celeste is a change maker in the world of figure skating. She constantly strives to bring about constructive changes in the system and makes an effort to be a voice for those who can't speak up. By denying her the right to skate, we are denying a future of improved figure skating that Celeste envisions and works towards.

The way the skating organisation has treated Celeste is disgraceful, unjust, and completely unacceptable. No athlete or coach should be subjected to such unfair treatment, and this behaviour must not be allowed to continue.

This is not just a call for Celeste's reinstatement but a plea for the rights of many dedicated athletes and coaches who may endure the same fate. Through this petition, we urge those responsible to review their decision and allow Celeste Milner to resume her skating.
