Brianna Ghey was a 16 year old girl who sadly was murdered on the afternoon of Saturday 11th February 2023 in what the authorities are refusing to label a hate crime. Brianna was transgender and part of the LGBTQ+ community and identified as female. But under current UK legislation of gender recognition it is incredibly likely that Brianna will be misgendered and dead named on her death certificate and official records. 

I have created this petition to ask that the British government allow for Brianna to be officially recognised as she identified.
