“The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (Public Works) is aware of the bicycling community’s interest in having access to the El Monte Transit Station from the Rio Hondo Bike Path. We understand that Metro, the owner and operator of the Transit Station, is considering possible solutions that will provide Bike Path users access to and within its Station property. Public Works, as the operator of the Bike Path, is supportive of Metro’s efforts and will collaborate with them to help make this vision a reality.”
