We are the Baldwin PAL Track Team, a close-knit group of sport-loving families and aspiring athletes. Fueled by commitment and devotion, our coaches spare no effort to mentor and advise the up-and-coming generation of runners. Over the years, the Baldwin High School track field has been the indispensable ground where these futures are shaped. However, last year, our beloved space came under reconstruction, and we had to use Baldwin Middle School track and Baldwin Park. We also had to share the space with other town track teams. Now that the construction is over, we face another roadblock that is keeping us from our home track.  As per the Baldwin School Board, there is a worry of overuse of the new track. We are a non-profit track program sponsored through Baldwin PAL. Our community's  tax contributions have been at the core of financing these renovations. Thus, it seems unjust to deny access to its rightful beneficiaries - our children. We believe that a shared agreement on the track field's sustainable use can be reached, which respects both the persistence of our children to train and the necessity to maintain the field in top condition.
