Why can’t Washington Terrace citizens have the same options as other cities?  Weber and Davis county combined have 30 cities of which 27 allow backyard hens for egg production. The price of eggs has doubled in the last year and it is not a guarantee that we can get eggs in grocery stores. We should be allowed to own  laying hens and produce our own eggs. Having the ability to own our own eggs gives us control over our families nutrition. Sign the petition to help our city representatives understand it citizens.
