Thank you all so much for the incredible support. The petition has now reached 532 signatures, and the majority are from local residents here in Millville, New Jersey.
The next City Commission meeting will be March 17th at 6 PM on the 4th floor of City Hall. I plan to attend and speak, and a few other supportive community members will be there as well.
If anyone who supports responsible backyard hens is able to attend — whether to speak or simply sit in solidarity — it would mean a lot and help show the Commission how much community interest there is in this issue.
Even if you can’t attend, continuing to share the petition helps keep the conversation going.
