Kirkwood for Everyone (K4E) supports Envision Kirkwood 2035 FIRST Guiding Principle:  “Create a community that embraces a diversity of housing and neighborhoods that supports citizens of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.”  K4E is a “grass roots” group of citizens who are concerned about the lack of attainable housing in our community.  Our goals are to increase attainable housing so that city workers, our seniors, and children who grew up in Kirkwood have the option to live here. We hope to stabilize the city’s tax base so that the best possible services and amenities can be provided to our citizens without raising taxes. 

We believe attainable housing and missing middle housing is critical to the realization of the 2035 guiding principle. To that end, we have been meeting with the mayor and city council members to try to establish a plan to move forward.  They have asked us how many people are behind us and would support these goals.  If you would like to show the City Council that you are in favor of creating attainable housing in Kirkwood, please sign our petition.  We can then tally the number of supporters and present this to council members.  Thank you!
