This is a petition to stop trying to ban the sell of illegal fireworks. Gavin Newsom is going to go on a witch on for those who buy illegal fireworks in Nevada. (I'm sure for those who are for this, that is okay, because they believe in this injustice) But for many it is that, an injustice and more abuse of power. It is time to say to Gavin Newsom and to you people, this law needs to be changed again, for the better, for inclusion and to EDUCATE. 

It is also time to say to Gavin Newsom, if you must invest in crime, invest back into our State by defending it from CRIMINALS who actually DO HARM! Who MURDER, RAPE, ABUSE, TORTURE, AND BRUTALIZE their victims. Take care of the Californian citizens!! And not go after those who only wanting to celebrate and have a little enjoyment in their lives (no matter their race, religion or color.)

There is so much we can do rather than do a witch hunt, and education is the key.

If people are so worried about property damage, fire risk, etc. EDUCATE THE MASSES! When buying these "illegal fireworks " like they do in other states, EDUCATE the people. Teach them how to light them properly, where to light them properly, and where not too.

We teach fire safety, gun safety, and now even lovk down drills in schools. We should, if those buy fireworksbeing you mustbe 18 YEARS OLD, be taught the same safety of fireworks safety, how to light them, where too, and where not too. Pamphlets should given out, vendors must tell the customers about the fireworks,  and if the customer refuses to listen, then they should be prosecuted, for endangering not only the community, their neighborhood, but also themselves and their family. 

Education is vital and key, however, banning fireworks IS NOT THE ANSWER!! as with anything, when one says you can't do something, (in most cases, it normally leads to the people wanting to do it, or even more, leads to them learning they can do it [SAFELY] because they know the LAW IS WRONG!) As we have seen so many times in history. (Do we need to bring up all those cases and laws changing, going to the Supreme Court, being reversed, and now probably going back.)

It's also time to put away the excuses for animals when california has made it accessible for hemp/weed and other means to calm our animals (and as any responsible animal owner like myself knows, it is best to keep your animals inside at all times during the day or even week of the fourth of July [especially if it's hot] with a TV on high, ac or fan on [also high] and them calm with enough hemp/meds given, there favorite show on and cool.) Doing so you know they are safe, well kept, in home, and WILL NOT RUN AWAY/ESCAPE. 

We also know that sadly, that yes PTSD is on rise, but no one is doing a thing for our homeless or mentally ill in this state, as severe funding was cut (as Gavin Newsom again revealed in his budget cuts) and rather than invest in mental health institutions for those thar desperately need it, find room in the budget, fund medical/Medicare even for it, he cut the budget, keeping these individuals from the help they need, or even worse on the streets to suffer more. 

Again the solution is to go after firework enthusiasts or those who wish to celebrate, but to question Gavin Newsom and his judgment calls, his budget cuts, and tell him that witch hunt is not the way to go, while violent crime is still rampant in our state, homeless is rising, mental illness/health just got budget cuts, and there are SEVERAL MORE CRUCIAL and MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES IN OUR STATE.

Another thing to note, is as AI and other technological advances continue to move forward, we can expect to see more safe and secure fireworks being made. How they will be handled, made will also get better, if it hasn't already. So firework safety will also overtime get better and safer for all. It is time to advance our laws with that and stop moving BACKWARDS RATHER THAN FOWARDS. 

In all, it is time to change for the better and not make a witch hunt during the forth of July for those who wish to celebrate, or even wish to celebrate New years, a Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, Bridal Shower, Baby Shower Reveal, or whatever. It is time we protect citizens and time we move forward with the times not back. We must educate not discriminate. We must tell Gavin Newsom he is being unjust and not perform these hunts on what people buy. If he can't make this state safe, then how should anyone feel during a time they feel joy and enjoyment with family or their community. If he does end up passing this law, then, who knows what can be next on his witch hunt list...
