Happy snow season ya'll, Its been a minute since this petition began, and despite everyone's enthusiasm and petition signing prowess, we still lack uphill access at Purgatory. This is despite the continued growth of both backcountry and inbounds uphill activity across the country and even the world ie: 2026 Olympics. 

As we slide into another winter season, I'd like to take advantage of the existence of this group of individuals to build some community and momentum. If you are still interested in helping promote uphill options for the southern San Juans - or just interested in pursuing various winter uphill activities with great folks in the area - we'll be organizing some activities either way. Whether it be at Purg, Hesperus, Wolf Creek or otherwise, uphill will go on! Feel free to add your contact info and ideas for activities here. 

We're fired up for a great winter and loads of vert, so hopefully we can all connect and maybe even work towards a cause that means a lot to many of us!
