Dear Mayor Hill,

I am writing to express my disappointment in the lack of access to medical marijuana in our town. As a first responder and disabled veteran, I have seen firsthand the benefits of medical marijuana for individuals suffering from chronic pain PTSD and other conditions. It is unacceptable that patients who rely on this medication, including myself, have to travel to other towns to obtain it.
I understand that some may view the use of medical marijuana as controversial, but it is important to remember that it is a legal and valid form of treatment for many individuals. Furthermore, it is disappointing to see our town being laughed at by other towns in New Jersey that have made access to medical marijuana a priority.
I would like to bring this issue to your attention, and express my interest in opening up a Medical/adult use Marijuana Dispensary in our Town, as it will not only give access to the medication to the people in need but also it will create jobs and business opportunities in the town.
I urge you to take action and work towards bringing a medical marijuana dispensary to our town. It is a matter of compassion and healthcare for those in need. I would like to formally request a letter of approval from the municipal so that I can obtain licenses through the state.
