Public Service Annoucement- Security Scam!!!!!!!
Beware of Allianz Security Protection Company, aka Allianz Security Protection LLC, aka ASP, aka B&B Group. These companies are actually one & the same and are completely and equally fraudulent. The SCAM goes as follows:
A Craigslist posting for jobs under different names, and different (cell) phone numbers stating that they have open positions for all shifts and immediate hire with no experience needed. NO ANSWER when you call, and a return phone call from someone who asks you if you’re prepared to pay a certain amount of money to begin your security guard training. This fee is usually in the range of $70 to $100. Once you arrive there and get interviewed, you will be offered a job and told that you have to complete certain certification training in order to receive your security license, and hence be placed at one of their (BOGUS) sites. Now the SCAM shifts to you paying money in excess of $700 in order to be trained in your 8 & 16 hrs. course, fire guard, metal detector, CPR, and Anti-terrorism. NOTE: Of these certificates, the only one necessary to obtain a security license in the state of NY, is the 8 hr. course. The 16 hr. (ON THE JOB TRAINING) course is necessary within the first 90 days of your employment. After you’re duped into believing this, you’re asked to pay in full the balance so that you may proceed with your classes. Once you complete the classes you’re issued a number of “PRE” certifications for courses that will not EVER promote or prevent employment in the security industry. The list goes on in regard to the misleading, and “BAIT & SWITCH” tactics perpetrated by this company, but I know most can understand by this point where I’m going with this. Lastly, they ARE NOT an employer by ANY means, and will send you out to answer job availability postings that you can find in any Daily News, Post, etc. These “SITES” they speak of, don’t even have relationships with Allianz. These facts I state are from personal experience and I myself, along with others that I know personally have been duped by this SCAM.
If you have been wronged by this company please contact the Manhattan District Attorney’s office-Special Prosecutions Bureau, Consumers Affairs, Federal Trade Commission, BBB/ Better Business Bureau, Ripoff Report.com, and all local new stations reporting the business practice of this company.
I will be setting up a petition shortly so that the word is spread about this company.
