City Council working on implementing an ordinance.

We are being told that city council is currently working to implement an ordinance that will mandate that if a property is deemed unfit for human habitation and renters are displaced, that the landlord, if negligent, would be responsible for either temporary housing or relocation costs.

We have been advocating for such ordinance to be implemented. We started a petition awhile back for a tenant relocation ordinance to be implemented. Please sign our petition if you already haven't.
