Next year all Allen ISD schools are making masks an option. This is making school environments unsafe, and uncomfortable for all students who care about their health. They are also completely taking away the online learning option for children who do not wish to attend school due to health concerns. This is not ideal for anyone and is making the school environment uncomfortable for all students and staff. Masks are crucial in helping to prevent this virus from infecting anyone at our Allen ISD schools and need to be worn until the CDC and actual health professionals say not to. With this new mask rule, it will overthrow all of the efforts that have been made to stop this pandemic, and we will end back up at square 1. Help us prevent infections and make masks mandatory in schools by signing this petition.
