It's often a struggle to find a way to exercise your dog safely off-leash.  Apartment living, restrictive HOAs, tether limitations, or small yards might be a hinderance.  Public dog parks are an option, but safety concerns might limit the use of these facilities.  Fido's Forest plans to provide a place for dogs and their owners to enjoy nature and explore the outdoors in the safety of a 6' chain link fence around a large wooded property.  The space will be privately rented by the hour so you don't have to worry about any issues with other people or dogs.

Allen County zoning regulations require that we apply for authorization to use our property (4600 W Wallen Road) to create Fido's Forest, a recreational space that will provide residents of the Fort Wayne, Indiana area a safe, private space to walk their dogs off-leash.  

This petition is for you to provide support for this project, in the form of your signature and local address.  Although we appreciate general support, the zoning board will only consider signatures from Fort Wayne and Allen County Indiana residents.  Thank you!
