Reinstating Mumbai Football club

This petition had 2,157 supporters

Mumbai FC was founded in 2007 with the objective of providing a platform for the young aspiring footballers from the city to showcase their talent and to try to make it to the big stage. The Mumbai Football Club plays their home games on the Cooperage Ground. The supporters of the Mumbai Football Club are called the Yellow Brigade. The Mumbai Football Club had their own academy to help young and budding footballers to realise their dreams of becoming a professional footballer. However for the past few weeks, their have been rumours of the club shutting down. This will prevent from young footballers to achieve their dreams and play professional football. It will hamper the progress of footballers and also prevent the fans the visual treat of watching their favourite club play. I appeal to you all to sign this petition to save the Mumbai Football Club to allow the progress of young footballers as well as preserve the culture of Mumbai football.
