#NotAPrayer - Seperate Church & State

Some times you have to stand up for what you believe in, and some times you have to sit down for it. Today Solidarity TDs showed their support for freedom of religion, and separation of church and state by refusing to comply with the new Dail rule which require TDs to stand for a catholic prayer . They stayed in their seats, and held up signs calling for a separation of church and state. This is just one small example of how the political establishment are trying to hold back progress in society. From the abortion rights and control of our hospitals, to the outrageous blasphemy laws; we need to be challenging the control of the church over our state.
